Lesson in arrogance

When I was 15 16 I promised myself there were jobs I would never do because I was too good for them and also my parents did them. When I turned 18 I got my first job at cvs and since then ive worked at all the places I promised myself I would’nt. Fast food place? Check Gas station ?check. I guess,y,i should have never thought I was,too good for it. Now that I have worked/working,these jobs I know how much work goes into it and, that at the end of the day if you have to survive your gonna have to work whatever job you get and hope that Allah has a bigger plan for you.

“If you get in, fine. But where are you going to get your money from? You don’t have a job. You can’t live off loans in New York like you can in Florida while you’re a student. Plan things out before you try making a big decision like that.”

Still in the Making: Does how someone else dresses really affect your life?→

kharakhara:

I don’t think it does at all. I think that there are bigger issues to deal with, like ourselves. We are so quick to point a finger at someone and say what they are doing wrong that we don’t realize judging them to begin with is wrong. Everyone wants the right to dress how they please, no one wants…
